Do these 2 dishes go well together?
I was going to do Roman-style Chicken and Fettucini Alfredo as part of a small party, and then a vegetable too. Do you think that would go well together or would be strange to have a plate of chicken and tomato pasta cream based? Here is the recipe I'm using if it helps: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/giada- de-laurentiis/roman-style-chicken-recipe/index.html http://www.recipezaar.com/Olive-Garden-Fettuccine-Alfredo- 8596
That sounds good to me. You can have cream of tomato sauces, so why a tomato and cream is too weird? In addition, you will find a salty acidity chicken dish, while the noodles are rich and creamy. I think some sauteed asparagus or Brussels sprouts on the side would be good. Or a bit of broccoli.
