Cooking: Looking for an simple chicken addition to serve w/ a cream cheese pasta.?
I wanted to cook a nice ‘lil meal this weekend for my family, and I realized I have a ton of cream cheese here.
So i’m making some pasta with a cream cheese sauce recipe I found online, the thing is I never had this before, and I wanted to serve it with some sort of ground or diced chicken breast, but I have no idea what kind of recipe to use for the chicken to go with this kind of pasta and sauce So anyone ever had a cream cheese sauce? And by chance, have any Idea what kind of a chicken recipe I can pair it with?
Baked Dijon Chicken

Ingredients:
cooking oil
1/4 cup NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Evaporated Milk
3 to 4 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
1 cup (4-6 ounce) BUITONI Refrigerated Freshly Shredded Parmesan Cheese
4 (about 1 1/4 pounds total) chicken breast halves
Directions:
PREHEAT oven to 475° F. Butte 13 x 9-inch baking dish with cooking oil.
COMBINE evaporated milk and mustard in shallow bowl. Combine bread crumbs and cheese in separate shallow bowl. Dip chicken into milk mixture, coating both sides, then into bread crumb mixture. Place in prepared dish.
BAKE for 15 to 20 minutes or until chicken is golden brown and no longer pink in center.

Skip the pasta –
10 chicken breasts, cut into thin strips
20 ounces linguine, cooked al dente
10 teaspoons cajun seasoning
1 cup butter
5 thinly sliced green onions
8-10 cups heavy whipping cream
5/8 cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes
1 1/4 teaspoons salt
1 1/4 teaspoons dried basil
5/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
5/8 teaspoon garlic powder
2 cups grated parmesan cheese
Place chicken and Cajun seasoning in a bowl and toss to coat.
In a large skillet over medium heat, sauté chicken in butter or margarine until chicken is tender, about 5 to 7 minutes.
Reduce heat add green onion, heavy cream, tomatoes, basil, salt, garlic powder, black pepper and heat through.
Pour over hot linguine and toss,with Parmesan cheese
