Last Christmas I was looking for something different to do. I found this recipe, tried it, loved it. 7-Layer Cookies 4 oz butter 1 1 / 2 cups graham cracker crumbs 1 (6 oz.) Package. chocolate chips 1 (6 oz.) package. butter chips 1 small can flaked coconut (1 1 / 3 cups) 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk 1-1 1 / 2 cups chopped nuts Preparation: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter in baking 9×13 inches. Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs instead of melted butter, crumbs spread with chocolate chips, then toffee chips. Sprinkle coconut on this, then drizzle of sweetened condensed milk evenly over all. Sprinkle with chopped nuts. Bake for about 25-30 minutes. Cool and cut into 1 1/2-inch squares. This page has 10,000 if ten thousand recipes for cookies: http://fooddownunder.com/cgi-bin/search.cgi?q=cookie&start=0&page=0 Last year I bought red and green bags and made a Christmas card I made homemade staples color copies and in front of the bags. I filled the bags of candy and sent 80 bags to soldiers posted to my husband drive. Vacuum cookies really helped to keep the cookies fresh for 2 weeks it took to get there. Other years I have bought bags clear cellophane and sealed the top with brightly colored tape. I try to buy cans of biscuits when I see 25 to 50 cents at garage sales. They really are useful during the holidays.
