Learn about cookie recipes peanut butter good?
I've searched in google and a couple of websites a good peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies recipe, but I thought I would take this wonderful forum to see what all you lovely people had in their books and recipe boxes. I used a recipe allrecipes.com the last time I made peanut butter cookies and they were good, but lacked the texture I like. I like to buy these cookies in the package, break and baking and would like to be able to recreate the best I can at home. I do not want to be crisp, like the type to be killed in the milk, but I do not want nor too soft. If you think you the recipe for me please share! The one I choose to be rewarded with a better answer after doing the Friday night (23) and carrying out a test flavor.
Thanks! Note: I have two sticks of butter in the bowl softening at the moment and want the recipe to produce about 4 dozen since I will be sharing with friends and family.
