At the end of the road is a washed out bridge
Where the waters eroded and formed a pool
Sitting on a rock, dipped my feet in, to cool
While watching an eagle fly over the ridge

The sun is hiding behind loitering cloud
As into the water, I now, slowly edge

My radios turned on, my music plays loud

To keep the bears distant, I don’t want to budge

So out of the water and into ice chest
I pull out a spritzer, no chocolate there
I think he done took it, and he didn’t share….
I’ll drink all these spritzers and leave him the rest

By the time he returned I’d polished them off
He came empty handed, he brought me no fish
Then looked in the cooler and called me a bitsh
All that remained for him, that cheap soda pop
