I'm looking for a good cake / cookie / cupcake recipe Easter-back I'm helping with Sunday. (1 week to go) I looking for something simple, unique, easy to frost, pleasing to the eye or all the above. Photos would be great! Also, any idea cake decorating Easter would be greatly appreciated:) I want a dessert to please children and adults alike.

Hummingbird cake with cream cheese frosting 3 cups flour 2 cups sugar granulated 1 / 2 teaspoon salt 2 teaspoons baking soda 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 3 eggs, vegetable oil olive beaten 1 1 / 4 cups vanilla 1 1 / 2 teaspoons extract 1 can (8 oz) crushed pineapple, well drained 1 cup chopped walnuts 2 cups firm ripe banana. Cream Cheese Icing: 16 ounces cream cheese, softened 1 cup butter at room temperature 2 pounds powdered sugar 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 1 / 2 to 1 cup chopped walnuts Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sift flour, sugar, salt, baking soda and cinnamon in mixing bowl several times. Add eggs and salad oil to dry ingredients. Stir with a wooden spoon until ingredients wet.
