History nut cookies?
My teacher of AP U.S. history gave a mission to bring a food of their culture or family heritage so I called my grandmother and she gave me the recipe for walnut cookies but I was not sure whether they were German or not. I just knew that my great-great-grandmother to make use of them and there three generations before my GGG grandmother – who lived in the U.S. so not sure of the origin of cookies. I also have to write a short summary of when food was served and if it had any significance on vacation as a Christmas cookie. I could not find on-line by what would very much appreciate any information provided. Thanks: D
