With a creamy pasta sauce (Alfredo sauce) can add regular cheese (tasty cheese only) instead of Parmesan?

The recipe is: 2 tbsp. butter 1 cup light cream 1 / 2 c. grated Parmesan or Romano cheese 1 / 2 tsp. black pepper 1 / 2 tsp. garlic powder and parmesan I have no want to do this, do you still they taste? thanks

Tasty regular cheese will not have a distinctive flavor – whether it is a vintage or aged Tasty would be better. You will taste though – just to add more of that cheese 1/2C and may need to add more liquid to counteract the extra cheese sauce thickened.
