Anyone have a recipe for shrimp and pasta?
I'm really in the mood for shrimp and pasta, but every time I do it just tastes blah. I've tried recipes from Allrecipes.com but taste like shrimp boiled shrimp instead of restaurant quality (or close to it). Does anyone have a shrimp very well with the sauce over the pasta recipe they would like to share?
The shrimp taste, because they are fried with garlic. If you like garlic this is a good recipe: 9 oz Spaghetti 7 oz medium shrimp peeled and deveined 11 oz cherry tomatoes, make a cut, but not deep enough to separate it into two halves, 5 large cloves garlic, sliced 4 tablespoons olive oil 5 oz arugula 1 oz fresh basil leaves salt and freshly ground pepper to taste Cook pasta in a large pot of lightly salted boiling water until al dente. Meanwhile, heat the olive oil in a large stick of the pan, add garlic for 2 minutes, Add the shrimp, salt and cook for 3 to 5 minutes or until they turn red. Remove with a slotted spoon and y separately. Leave garlic in skillet. Add in skillet cherry tomatoes and cook, stirring often until they are soft and sauce is a little (but the tomatoes should not melt completely). Add shrimp, stirring for 1 minute. Reduce heat, add arugula and basil, stir quickly. Remove from heat. Drain the pasta and mix with sauce. Season with salt and pepper. Serve immediately.
