HOME COOKING: Hard Rock Cafe recipes to cook at home – Rock Your World Chicken Quesadillas – prepare a delicious meal to impress family, friends
With his classic Rock & Roll theme and the great chef prepared meals, the Hard Rock Cafe is a great place to eat.
Back in the 70's, Eric Clapton – the original guitar God, founder of Cream and Derek and the Dominos, author of the immortal "Layla" – liked to eat at this restaurant feature of America London, England, called the Hard Rock Cafe.
The restaurant was this funky old building that used to be a Rolls Royce dealership. It was directed by a couple Young American players who liked to keep it loose. Hard Rock Cafe was an instant classic. You could be yourself at the Hard Rock. It was good food and a good time.
So Clapton became friends with the American duo and asked them to save him a regular table – put a brass plaque or something. And the young proprietors said, "Why not put the guitar?" Everyone had a smile and handed him a guitar, and hit the wall.
Nobody thought much about it. Until a week later, when another guitar arrived (a Gibson Les Paul, by the way). With her was a note from Pete Townshend The Who which read: "Mine's as good as yours. Love, Pete."
The young proprietors put it on the wall. After that, never guitars stopped coming.
The restaurant franchise continues this practice today with Hard Rock Cafes in more than thirty countries around the world. Each one of Hard Rock Cafe is full of Rock & Roll Collection. Many famous musical artists continue to donate items to restaurants.

- Hard Rock Cafe Baked Potato Soup –
8 slices bacon
1 cup diced yellow onion
2 / 3 cup flour
6 cups of broth HotChick
4 cups diced – unpeeled baked potatoes
2 cups heavy cream
1 / parsley 4 cup
1 1 / 2 teaspoon granulated garlic
1 1 / 2 teaspoon dried basil
1 1 / 2 teaspoon salt
1 1 / 2 teaspoon red pepper sauce
1 1 / 2 teaspoon coarse black pepper
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1 / 4 cup diced green onions – white part only
Additional chopped bacon —
Grated cheese and chopped parsley for garnish
Fry the bacon until crisp. Chop the bacon and reserve grease.
Cook onions in remaining juices over medium-high heat until transparent, about 3 minutes. Add flour, stirring to prevent lumps.
Cook 3 to 5 minutes until the mixture begins to run gold. Add the chicken broth little by little, stirring to prevent lumps, until liquid thickens. Reduce heat to simmer and add potatoes, cream, chopped bacon, parsley, garlic, basil, salt, pepper and black pepper. Simmer 10 minutes; not let boil. Add the grated cheese and green onion.
Heat until cheese melts smoothly.
Garnish each serving as desired with chopped bacon, grated cheese and chopped parsley.
- Rock Your World Chicken Quesadillas –
4 flour tortillas of
1 chicken breast grilled
barbecue sauce
crushed pineapple
bacon bits
Colby-Jack cheese
cooking oil spray
Take flour tortilla and sprinkle with half the cheese and 1 / 4 cooked chicken.
Add bacon bits and a bit of pineapple (without juice) if desired. Pour a little barbecue sauce on top. Do not be too generous with the sauce or leaks out of the quesadilla.
Spray skillet with cooking spray. Fold the tortilla in half and place in skillet. It only takes a few minutes to brown one side and then turn to brown other side.
When finished, cut into wedges and serve with barbecue sauce if you like wet added.
– Orange Freeze Hard Rock Cafe —
2 cups orange sherbet
1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
Milk 1 / 4 cup of
1 sprig fresh mint (for garnish)
In a blender, place the sorbet, juice and milk, mix for 15 seconds, or until the sorbet is smooth.
You may have to stop the blender and stir the mixture a little to help those who are combined.
Pour into a tall glass, chilled and place a sprig fresh mint on top.
Serve immediately, either to drink or dessert.

2 cans 15 ounces pinto beans (with liquid)
2 tablespoons water
2 teaspoons cornstarch
Tomato sauce 1 / 2 cup
1 / cup white vinegar 3
1 / 4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons minced onion
1 teaspoon prepared mustard
1 / 2 teaspoon chili powder
Salt 1 / 4 teaspoon
1 / teaspoon coarsely ground pepper 4 black
1 / 2 cup shredded pork or bacon, chopped
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Pour the entire contents of the can of pinto beans in a pan (with lid). Dissolve the cornstarch in a small bowl with 2 tablespoons water.
Add this solution to the beans and stir. Add remaining ingredients casserole, mix well and cover.
Bake for 90 minutes or until sauce thickens. Stir every 30 minutes.
After removing the beans from the oven, let the beans cool for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
- Hard Rock Cafe Grilled Vegetable Sandwich –
6 Tbl Mayonnaise
1 / 2 ts Fresh Parsley – Chopped
Dried Oregano
Salt to taste
1 red pepper
1 sm Zucchini
1 Yellow Summer Squash
1 / 4 eggplant
1 / 4 cup olive oil
2 Sourdough French Roll
1TB Parmesan cheese – grated
8 slices of onion ring
4 slices tomato
2 pieces red lettuce
Preheat the grill or stove grid.
To make the spread, put 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise in small bowl and add the parsley, oregano and a pinch of salt. Set this May and the rest aside until ready to make the sandwich.
Prepare the peppers cut in quarters and planted. Brush the surface with oil oil. Cut the pumpkin, squash and eggplant lengthwise into slices with oil.
Cook the red pepper on a hot grill for 2 or 3 mintues. At that time add remaining grilled vegetables and cook everything by 4 to 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
Make sure the salt of the vegetables and turn halfway through the cooking time. When the vegetables are tender and beginning to char, remove them from the grill and prepare each sandwich in the first round of French court half in half lengthwise. Spread parsley mixture of May in the bottom of the rollers.
Place the zucchini on the lists. Stacks of yellow squash and then the eggplant.
Peel the skin of red peppers and then add to the sandwiches. Place the onions on the peppers. Divide and sprinkle on Parmesan cheese over peppers. Place the onions and tomato slices next.
Add the lettuce and spread of mayo in the top of the charts. Close the sandwiches and cut in half. Pierce each piece with a toothpick and serve.
Dig and enjoy!
