pasta ideas please …..?
I want to make a pasta dish, but I am tired of the usual spaghetti. this is what I have on hand ….. hamburger and sausage Italian penne pasta and noodles, spaghetti sauce and game in a can. any idea of a good dish? can be baked or whatever. recipe gets best answer !!!!! Thank you.
Ok here goes, this is how I would do: Season Italian sausage with Italian dressing and some red pepper flakes if you want some of spicyness. Saute sausage in a skillet until cooked and almost entirely to one side. While this is cooking, cook the penne pasta in salted water, but not cooked through, which is liiiiitle a bit raw. In a baking dish, drizzle olive oil flavored Pam and pour over penne pasta. Then add the sausage and pour the spaghetti sauce. Sprinkle some mozzarella cheese and parmigianno regianno too. A very generous amount, so it covers the top. Put in the oven at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted. When pasta is done, sprinkle a little parsley.
