Packaging

There are several essential items that I do not want to be without when you have your picnic. These include:

The picnic basket (or better yet, a fridge to keep everything fresh)
Frozen bottles of water. Put in the freezer the night before the picnic. When they melt, water will freeze!
-Tablecloth or picnic blanket

This does not mean you need to eat bread and water, but if you plan to foods that are easy to prepare and serve, one must be doing you a favor. The last thing you need when you arrive at your picnic spot is the time to prepare a complicated meal. Stick to simple foods like peanut butter and jelly, fruit, vegetables, cookies, crackers, and so on.

If you want to pack a picnic lunch but is tired of the routine of the peanut butter sandwich, consider trying a new recipe for a meal or a dessert that can be done ahead of time and is easy prepare once you get to your picnic spot. Remember that what they do must be perishable. A great option that is quick, easy and tasty is to use target = "_blank" title = "The product mix cake" product-mix cake> to make the dessert before the picnic.
