I need a big chicken / shrimp fettuccine alfredo recipe?
Im going to make pasta for dinner tomorrow and I want it as "wow" to my family who wants it with fettuccine noodles with creamy white sauce and I want to have either chicken or shrimp, I want to do everything, including salsa, no simple recipe. more ingredients, better. I want to go all out for this thanks for all your help!
5-star is big enough? just cook your chicken or shrimp in advance and let fall into the sauce when it is simmering. Ingredients * Kosher salt * 1 egg dry pound fettuccine 1 / 3 cup unsalted butter * 2 cups heavy cream * 2 pinches freshly grated nutmeg * 1 1 / 2 cups freshly grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese Freshly ground black pepper * Bring to reach a large pot of boiling water and salt generously. Boil the pasta until al dente, tender but slightly firm. Meanwhile, in a large skillet over medium heat melt butter and whisk the cream and nutmeg and bring just to a simmer. Lower the heat to keep the mixture warm. Drain the pasta in a colander and reserve some of the cooking water. Add the pasta to the cream mixture, mix with the cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste. If the paste mixture has become thick and strong, thin with a little cooking water reserved.
