Does pesto sauce and shrimp go together?

This question is for all the Italian cooks out there. Does pesto sauce and shrimp go together. and if not does anyone have a good shrimp scampi recipe? I’m craving pasta and shrimp and no one wants to go with me to the olive garden so I figured id try to satisfy my craving by cooking it myself. help!

Does it EVER. In fact pesto is a great sauce for shrimp because it doesn’t smother the fresh flavor of the shrimp.

However there are a ton of different pesto recipes. There are walnut pesto, arugula pesto, siciliano pesto.
