Does anyone have a recipe for red pepper sauce? More sweet spicy then ….?
I will use with pasta and seafood. Thanks!
Sweet red pepper, roasted, 2, 12 ounces or stew olive oil, 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar or more, 1 tablespoon of salt and pepper, white wine vinegar, to taste (optional) Roast the peppers in toaster oven or other method. Peel the roasted peppers. Cut into manageable pieces and whipping in a food processor. Whip olive oil slowly, pulse by pulse. Season with salt and pepper. Whisk the balsamic vinegar. Add the optional white wine vinegar to taste. That's all, enjoy. Variations Omit the balsamic vinegar, producing a simple sauce of peppers and olive oil only. Add vinegar or to taste. Several additions to vary in some onion stir sweet red onion. Garlic can also be added, mashed and stirred into not long before serving. Or add the olives, preferably Kalamata, pitted and halved. Try almonds, toast or slices. Capers are a possibility. A distinctive flavor is provided by the diced ham, cooked, and / or green pepper, which also provide a bit of color. Red Pepper Sauce House Blend This has become a favorite in our home. It adds flavor to the tomatoes and wine vinegar red for the first time experienced in the Greek eggplant whipped spread. Besides these ingredients to taste red pepper creates a distinctly different, richer, not as smooth as the recipe above. Unlike the spread of eggplant, this sauce can be used immediately. That does not improve cooling during night. May be refrigerated up to one week., And can freeze. Makes 1 cup for 4 people as fish sauce, eggplant, roasted peppers or sweet biscuits, 2, 12 ounces or stew olive oil, 1 tablespoon or more of plum tomatoes, 2, 6 ounces, chopped, or canned tomatoes, 1 cup well drained and chopped red wine vinegar, 1 ½ teaspoon or more salt and pepper Roast the peppers in toaster oven or other method. Peel the roasted peppers. Cut into manageable pieces and whip in a food processor. Whisk the olive oil gradually, pulse by pulse. Whisk red wine vinegar and chopped tomatoes. Gusto. Add more vinegar, salt and black pepper to taste. Add a variation some chopped sweet onion.
