Looking for a recipe for anise cookies …?

My grandmother used to make these cookies flavored with anise fantastic Christmas, and I would try my hand at them. My grandmother died several years ago and my mother can not find the recipe or do not remember if they have a name other than "cookies anise" or "anise pastry biscuits.." I searched Google both names and can not seem to find the right recipe, to the photos … The cookies were crisp and not chewy, was a kind of merengue as the inspiration to them. I remember my grandmother telling me that the secret was the inspiration to ensure that enough eggs are beaten and that the best cookies if you let them sit for a couple of weeks before serving. Can anyone help me find this recipe? Thanks!
