It's a late afternoon of December and I'm sitting on the terrace of my parents, smoking a cigarette while trying to avoid the stares of contempt of me shooting the window. High Hill, offers me a wonderful view and the tide was running toward the river, high on the rising tide of fresh waters Stewiacke River. Fantastic and impressive event happens with every tide, and in this time of year, the flow of ice can make it even more dramatic.
This tiny province on the east coast of Canada offers a range of opportunities for views like this. I like wonder of Mother Nature, is a bald eagle swoops down on it from above, piercing eyes looking through the snow covered fields to dinner the night. As night approaches, a mother deer and her fawn can be seen in the field at the end of the unit, and binoculars are never far from taking full advantage of landscapes. All this, yet we are less than an hour away from our capital city of Halifax and within 30 minutes Stanfield International Airport.
From Stewiacke, located halfway between the North Pole and Ecuador, their options for entertainment, tours landscaping and more are limitless. With Highway 102 in the door, there's part of the province which is unattainable. As a tourist destination, is a small and charming the city that offers all sorts of equipment, and as a house, which is located a short commuting distance to most major employment centers, offering a variety of amenities and P3 has a new primary school with bus routes for children. Mastadon Ridge is a local hot spot and includes shops with unique gift ideas and original with local and maritime approaches. Service stations, grocers, bars and restaurants offer no limit to your options.
A short distance introduces the student to Truro, Nova Scotia downtown. Steeped in history with an eye forward, it offers great shopping, parks, hotel accommodations and more, with beautiful scenic routes of the north coast of the province which has campsites and lodging in the oceans edge.
We are known as Canada’s Ocean Playground for very good reasons, and if you visit, you’ll no doubt want to stay. For a direct link to Nova Scotia Real Estate visit http://www.easthants.com/realestate. You’ll come for the scenery…and stay for the life style.
