Recipes low calorie and healthy lunch?
I posted this in another section, but received no response to make at home and bring with me to college for lunch so easy lgo that can be packed into a container. I'm running out of ideas so please share your recipes. Also, something that is healthy, everything sold in college is not healthy, even the sandwiches have 500 calories or more and its frustrating to know what is healthy. thanks for ur help x
Pasta === tuna salad 1 cup shell pasta 1 bunch green onions, chopped 1 / 2 cup lettuce, washed and chopped 1 (6 ounces) tuna, drained 1 (15 oz) peas, drained 1 / 2 cup grated cheddar cheese Instructions: 1. In a medium saucepan of boiling salted water cook until al dente. Drainage. 2. Somewhere in a bowl large green onions and shredded lettuce. Add the cooked pasta and drain, drained tuna, peas, shredded cheddar cheese and mix well. 3. Add seasoning to taste of creaminess and serve. Hummus ================================================= Wrap and prosciutto 12 October 4 thin slices low-carb tortillas inch whole wheat 1 / 2 cup hummus spread, divided 4 slices mozzarella cheese 1 avocado – peeled, pitted, sliced - divided 4 small tomatoes, sliced 1 cup of lettuce leaves, divided Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). A line baking sheet with parchment paper. 2. Arrange ham slices on the baking sheet so they do not touch, and cook in preheated oven until crisp, 6 to 8 minutes. Remove the oven and let cool. 3.
