English traditional recipe vegetarian main dish that is mainly vegan, I have to cook for Italiano!?

Usually, in the house as Asian, Mexican, French, Italian, morrocon, but very rarely English … if I do that has been prepared in advance, like a beautiful country McCartney pie and vegetables. In Italy I cooked really good food, spaghetti, gnocci, cheeseless pizzas, ravioli, cannelloni, lasagne, frittatas (fried pastry pizza donut things), really good salads, risotto and more … Sometimes I like similar things in England, if not Indian, Thai, Japanese, Chinese, etc, but realize my Italian friend is expected English traditional cuisine, and usually eats a lot in times of food (pasta holds!) any idea forward in a fair, tasty, good vegetarian food Traditional English? Please help!
