vegan cookie recipe question?
My boyfriend is vegan and I would like to make some cookies for him. I'm very new to vegetarian cooking and I have a lot vegan-friendly ingredients to bake (no soy milk products, no margarine, no egg substitutes). I have a great recipe, super easy for butter cookies peanut using peanut butter, sugar and egg. What I can use to replace the egg will taste in the cookie? My mom with a grocery budget and I really do not want to spend money on expensive ingredients that my family will not eat. I can do a replacement egg everyday ingredients can already do? And that does not affect the taste of the cookie? Thanks!
applesauce replace the egg. will remain the same flavor but a bit more healthy. and also that it will be good for a vegan:). apple sauce is the same sticky consistency of the eggs. my mom uses it in brownies and cookies all the time and delicious:)) <33
